The 4th Grade History Jamboree is an annual event put on by MCARLM, in order to provide students with a hands-on historical immersion in California History and roots.  Local retired school teachers come together to create a history experience.  Stations at this event include, Travel routes to California, The Gold Rush and Gold Planning, Living in the Old West, Eating in the Old West, Blacksmithing and more.

The 4th Grade History Jamboree is an important part to the 4th grade curriculum.  Students are from local elementary schools are invited to experience different aspects of life for the early California gold miners.  Students spend time learning how to pan for gold, watch blacksmiths at work, as well as other important aspects of life!  This event is put on by local volunteers and we are always looking for those who want to volunteer.

Location San Lorenzo Park

Your donation will help us continue to inspire and engage current and future generations of agriculture and rural life history enthusiasts. Without the Agricultural and Rural Life Museum, our community would be bereft of the inspiration and sustenance provided by the historical context of our exhibitions. No matter the size of your budget, your gift will make a difference! Gifts of all sizes tremendously appreciated.
