Monterey County Agricultural & Rural Life Museum

School Tours

Agriculture and Rural life at the turn-of-the-century is the interpretive focus at the Monterey County Agricultural & Rural Life Museum. MCARLM provides a free opportunity to immerse your students in Early California history. Our artifact rich exhibits and hands on interactives provide a fun and memorable educational experience for students. As a bonus the museum is located in beautiful San Lorenzo Park in King City, a perfect setting for an after tour picnic lunch.

Your students will benefit from this educational day with hands on immersion into our local history, utilizing many tools to help meet California Content Standards and assist in developing 21st Century Skills. Tours are available from March through June, September and October.  Call Sharon at 831-386-0965 or email: This email address is being protected from spambots. Your donation will help us continue to inspire and engage current and future generations of agriculture and rural life history enthusiasts. Without the Agricultural and Rural Life Museum, our community would be bereft of the inspiration and sustenance provided by the historical context of our exhibitions. No matter the size of your budget, your gift will make a difference! Gifts of all sizes tremendously appreciated.

Thank you for your contribution!
